Hi, my name is Amy and not only am I a CZT, but I am also a Hot Air Balloon Pilot and a certified cytotechnologist registered with American Society of Clinical Pathologists.  I have degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Physiology.  Needless to say, I was never an art major!  However, if you have any doubts that you can do this (like I did as a science geek), you absolutely can.  When I started, I had a one year old, and a baby on the way.  My mom paid for me to have a class and the rest was history.  I was hooked!  Now Zentangle provides a wonderful way for me to de-stress from my "mom" responsibilities.   That is beautiful thing about Zentangle, not only do you get to create gorgeous art, you can’t help but relax.  Zentangle allows you to become more mindful as you practice this art form.   It is something that you learn by following the process; you just have to experience it!  I love teaching Zentangle to all students.  I see their face light up when they see the art that they have created and that yes they can do Zentangle!   

Many times after class, students have contacted me to let me know how Zentangle has changed their lives. They tell me how Zentangle has helped them with something that was a personal struggle.

It is been an amazing journey!
