I was introduced to Zentangle® last year at a Art Jounaling class. I have never considered myself an artist, but have played with many different forms, such as Art Journals, Altered Art projects, calligraphy, stamping, beading, and quilting. However, I was immediately taken in by the Zentangle® process. I was living in an area that didn't offer any Certified Zentangle Teachers. So I was on my own. I began searching the internet for information. I immediately purchased 5 books that same weekend, and started to play with the patterns.

 As I became more involved in the process. I realized how much I enjoyed tangling, and the accomplishment it gave me with my art. I had to learn more about this  process, so I signed up for the first CZT class available.

There are so many exciting things about Zentangle®.  I continue to learn more about this process and what it has to offer me psychologically, and in my journey with my art.

 I am eager to share this art form with others, either aware of their creativity, or unaware of their creative energy within.
