I came across the art of Zentangle® quite by accident in 2011. I was intrigued by both the process of creating the art and by the end results. At first, I dabbled in it on my own, but found I didn't know which direction to go first. Then in early 2012, I took a class from a CZT, Carolyn in Bellingham. The delightful experience spurred me on and inspired me to become a CZT myself. I would love to share the wonderful practice of Zentangle with you.
I currently teach primarily in Woodinville, but have also traveled within Washington state to teach a larger group of students.
To contact me, please write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. I also have a blog at http://zartfullytangled.blogspot.com, on which I share thoughts on how the Zentangle art form and method coincide with daily life and offer ideas and suggestions to help you along your Zentangle journey. I look forward to hearing from you.
As a Certified Zentangle® Teacher, I am always looking for ways to increase the depth and breadth of what I can offer my students, and how I can continue to grow in my own practice, as well.
To this end, I was delighted to be able to further my own tangling knowledge and experience by attending an intensive training weekend at Tangle U in Northampton, MA, in March 2013. I look forward to bringing my students new information and ideas gathered at this terrific event.
I believe that the Zentangle method enhances our lives by expressions of creativity, art enjoyment, and increased mindfulness. In addition, it can enrich our spiritual journey, and I am looking forward to exploring that aspect more following one of the classes I took at Tangle U.
In the meantime, tangle on!
I've recently added a Facebook page for quick updates on classes and other tidbits. You can find me there as Certified Zentangle Teacher - Ann Rupley (www.facebook.com/CZTAnnRupley). Spring 2014 class schedule will be out in the next few weeks!
