Zentangle Extended Basics • Sam Flax • June 22nd
Extended Basics is our popular beginner class - you'll be well grounded in the process of Zentangle and then we'll dig deeper into learning tangles and variations. We'll finish with a small project to bring your new skills together! Class is 10 am until 1 pm. Cost is $60 (cash; pay on the 22nd). You'll need to purchase the 11 piece Sakura Zentangle set from the store, and we'll furnish the rest of the supplies. Class will be at the Sam Flax store on Peachtree in the Brookwood area where Buckhead turns into Midtown.

Extended Basics (morning) and Black & White & Tangled All Over (afternoon)

We'll spend Saturday morning in the Extended Basics class - see description above. During the afternoon we'll get "Black & White & Tangled All Over"! In addition to learning lots of tangles, we'll flip the switch and work with white on black paper. Time to work on small projects is included. 'Tangles, 'Dangles & Inspirations!
September 4, 11, & 18 (Wednesday evenings) • Spruill Arts Center
We're so excited about this new class! It will begin with the basic process of Zentangle® - a beautiful art form that anyone can do using structured patterns. The remainder of the time will be devoted to an intensive exploration of embellishing forms using patterns and "Zendangles". Students will work with black pens on white paper until the last class, when we will begin to experiment with color. No prerequisite required and people new to Zentangle are welcome! Wednesdays, Sept 4, 11, 18, 6:30 - 8:30 pm • Spruill Arts Center • $145 + $20 supply fee (all supplies are furnished)

This is always a popular class when we offer it. It will begin with the basic process of Zentangle® - a beautiful art form that anyone can do using structured patterns. Beginners are welcome! Then we'll teach you tangles, tangles and more tangles! It is a faster paced class, but we'll include some time to practice and experiment with the tangles you've learned.

Learning Your ABZ's!
Tuesday evenings, October 22, 29, & November 5 • Sam Flax
We'll start with an intro so beginners are welcome. Then we'll play with materials and alphabet-based projects - we're cooking up some fun things to do with a single letter, monogram, name - whatever strikes your fancy! Class will be held 6:30 - 8:30 at the Sam Flax store on Peachtree in the Brookwood area where Buckhead turns into Midtown. Save the date and watch for more info on this class!
