Zentangle helps me breath a little deeper

I discovered Zentangle while looking for some interesting free motion stitching techniques. I went to zentangle.com, copied the tangles and practiced them  "one stroke at a time"  finding it interestingly satisfying.  Zentangle provides a wonderful experience that uses my basic art nature and interests to create intricate, complex looking pieces.  I immersed myself and was compelled to travel to Providence RI for the CZT8 certification in February, 2012 to learn more. I have found this work increasingly interesting and challenging, experimenting with tangles and learning new ones. I love to get into the "zone" where time stops and I get lost in the work. The finished product looks amazing and I have such a sense of calm after working on a piece. It has started my artist within.

      I am available for 2 hour workshops or classes.  I can travel around the Calgary area to teach individuals or groups.
